1. IDENTIFY SUITABLE GRANTS

1. IDENTIFY SUITABLE GRANTS

Rather than adopt a machine gun approach and apply for any of the hundreds of grants on offer, we seek out grants that are suited and targeted to sporting organisations.
This avoids wasting everyone’s time and effort on unsuitable grants, and instead
focuses on not missing out on the worthy ones.

2. COMMUNICATE SUITABLE GRANTS WHEN THEY OPEN

2. COMMUNICATE SUITABLE GRANTS WHEN THEY OPEN

We match suitable/open grants to eligible sporting organisations and then communicate these, summarising the guidelines, the types of projects that grant providers are seeking to fund, along with any key points about the grant.

3. LIAISE WITH INTERESTED SPORTING ORGANISATIONS

3. LIAISE WITH INTERESTED SPORTING ORGANISATIONS

We liaise with sporting organisations that have expressed an interest in having us apply for the grant on their behalf, to identify the project the organisation wishes to progress with and gather the necessary information required for the application.

4. PREPARE AND SUBMIT THE GRANT APPLICATION

4. PREPARE AND SUBMIT THE GRANT APPLICATION

We write the grant application using the experience of any relevant team member required for the particular grant. Each grant application is reviewed by a separate team member, and the organisation can also review the final application prior to submission, should they desire to do so.

5. NOTIFICATION OF THE OUTCOME

5. NOTIFICATION OF THE OUTCOME

The organisation is usually informed of the outcome (not us). This can occur within weeks, or a number of months, after the application deadline.
If unsuccessful, almost
always because the grant provider does not have sufficient funds to award all applicants, we will look at re-applying next round.

6. GRANT ACCEPTANCE

6. GRANT ACCEPTANCE

Usually, the organisation is required to accept the application with a simple grant acceptance reply to the grant provider.
We can assist with this
part if required at no additional cost to the organisation.

7. RECEIVE THE GRANT FUNDS

7. RECEIVE THE GRANT FUNDS

The organisation receives payment shortly afterwards (usually within 1 to 3 weeks) into their nominated bank account as communicated to the grant provider.
We then invoice the applicant and are paid our success fees as agreed.

✅ SPEND THE GRANT FUNDS

✅ Spend the Grant Funds

The organisation then spends the money in accordance with their funding application, and within the required timeframe as designated by the grant provider (usually from 6 to 18 months). Upon project completion, the organisation is usually then required to provide the grant provider with proof of having completed the project. This could be in the form of expenditure receipts, photographs, or a report, or a combination of all of these. We can assist with this, and there is no extra charge above the success fees already charged.
